Haa Valley

Holiday Resolution


Valley which lies in an area of ​​about 1,700 km² is one of the many beautiful areas in the kingdom of Bhutan.
Known for its tradition of animism before Buddhism entered the country, Haa Valley opened as a tourist destination in 2002.

Haa Valley covers three areas, namely Paro, Chhukha, and Samtse. Beside rich in natural beauty, this valley is also rich in culture. Some famous site can be found there, such as the Lhakhang Karpo (White Temple) and Lhakhang Nagpo (Black Temple) 7th century relic, also Haa Wangchuklo Dzong built in 1915. Annually held a number of festivals and rituals, among others, a celebration to honor Ap Chundu, guardian deity of the valley. For nature lovers, Haa Valley is a paradise on earth Bhutan.
