Derived from the word Ganga (Sanskrit and Hindi: गंगा; Ganga) or the Ganges (spelling the west), the name of the Hindu Goddess
worshiped as a goddess of fertility and cleansing all sins with which pour holy water.
This river is a holy river for Hindu religion. They believe that if bathing in the Ganges at the right time will have forgiveness of sins and make it easier for someone to gain salvation.
