Oslo is the Capital of Norway and the most populous city of the country. This is the center of trade, cultural and scientific activities in Norway.
The city is a great attraction for people associated with maritime companies, as it holds the offices of world’s largest maritime companies, ship-brokers and maritime insurance brokers.

If you are visiting the Scandinavian countries, do not forget to include Oslo in your traveling plan, otherwise you will miss many important things. It has many distinctions, as it is rated as world’s one of the most expansive cities. The Oslo is most rapidly growing city of the Europe, the major contributors in this growth are the immigrants.
The city has many attractions for the visitors, including a large number of parks, museums and seaside. Frogner Park is a very large park, located near the city Center.

It is rated as the largest park in Norway. The park holds a large number of Sculptures as well. Bygdoy is the huge green area, an expansive one. It is surrounded by sea, which makes it perfect party place. Other famous parks are St. Hanshauge Park and Toven Park.
Oslo is surrounded by hills and forests, two major forests are really close to the city. Moreover, swimming pools is another attraction in Oslo. These are very large pools; many are nearly 50 meters long. Oslo is ranked as second in the list of cleanest cities of the world. Norway’s most extensive transport system is associated with Oslo. There is an interested tradition related to Oslo. The city sends Christmas trees to Washington D.C, New York, London and many others.
If we talk about performing arts and culture, Oslo has an outstanding record. Many musical and cultural events are organized by the government every year. These cultural events attract lot of tourists in the country. Oslo, is very important city of Norway, so do not miss the change to see this Scandinavian city.
