The place was built in the early 17th century. Peterhof consists of a series of palaces and gardens located in Saint Petersburg, Russia,
was built on the orders of Peter the Great. The palace and gardens are sometimes referred as the "Russian Versailles". Palace ensemble along with the city center is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
